HJ Collections

HJ Collections is named for my grandfather, Harry Daniel Jersig—a Texas businessman, rancher, and conservationist who led the Lone Star Brewing Company during its rise into one of the state’s most iconic brands. His passion for conservation and the outdoors shaped an equally enduring legacy. A prolific sportsman, he was recognized in Sports Illustrated, served on the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission, and was named Texas Conservationist of the Year in 1966.

Harry traveled the world in pursuit of the rare and remarkable. He was a man of taste—an avid collector, a gracious host, and a presence in every room he entered. His life was not simply lived, but curated.

Among the pieces he left behind was a bolo tie—distinct, storied, and unmistakably his. A piece for a man who understood that what you wear should say something before you ever speak.
